In 1995 Chris began working for Anderson Communications in Atlanta, GA as a junior account executive. While there he supported event promotion campaigns for the Pillsbury and Burger King accounts. He conceptualized, planned logistics and strategies for the urban Reebok One-On-One Tournament. In 1997 he began working for Roy Communications, which specialized in healthcare and personal care consumer products. He co-developed and managed execution for P&G's Downy Fabric Care and Pepto-Bismol brands. He also participated in the management of Whitehall Robbins' Primatene Mist public relations campaign which targeted communities with higher than average asthmatic cases.
In 2000, Chris began working for Infinity Broadcasting in the non-traditional revenue department. He sold event presence and on-air promotions to the Indy Racing League and Pfizer which were both first time promotion clients with the station. He also sold event sponsorships to Office Depot and Bic utility lighters.
From 2001 to 2006 Chris served contractually as onsite tour manager for various event marketing agencies including GMR; Momentum; Ignition; and the Spark Agency. He managed a local event sampling campaign for Wrigley's Spearmint, on-site executions and logistics for the K-mart Celebration Tour; Indy Racing League Fan Experience; and the Circuit City Ride Tour.
