ABOUT CKB-LUCAS
My name is Christopher Bryant. In 2023 I adopted the pen name of CKB-Lucas for literary work. I am a native of Atlanta, GA. I am a married father of four children. Two are biological, including Melia and Malik. I have regarded Dominique as my son since he was 10-weeks. Because this book is largely autobiographic, those three are inherently woven into elements of the narrative. Naya is the youngest, and is my daughter by marriage. My wife’s name is Melissa, and we became married in April 2019.
The majority of my career has been in the event-marketing industry. I own and continue to expand an event promotions agency. The business also provides upscale event equipment rental services, for residential and commercial clients. Writing has primarily been undertaken leisurely. I sense that after releasing this book, the scale of my writing obligations will hold a presence in my life that is equivalent to events.
I also plan to produce and publish an audio version of His Name Was Robert. In that version, the inflections of my voice, aided by the unscripted emotions attached to retelling this story, will breakthrough clearly. The five minute "Letter to Robert" audio clip above is an example. By reading the book first, your listening experience will have far greater dimensions. Upon completing that project, I will update and rerelease the two books that I wrote several years ago. One is entitled An Open Letter to My Son. The second title is The Megachurch Book.
