ABOUT GRETA LEWIS

In 2007 Greta began to take notice of her increasing dependence upon Aleve in order to resolve body pains. She had no idea what was the cause of the pain, but after taking an entire bottle of Aleve in a single day, she knew there was a necessity to seek medical assistance. Initially, Greta was misdiagnosed, and informed that her condition was cancer related. She knew that a second opinion was required. After being referred to a specialist, Greta explained her symptoms, and was diagnosed as having Lupus. Her first reaction was devastation, but her spiritual strength and devotion gave her a mandate to not only live, but to thrive.

certain occasions of having severe physical effects. Greta was check into emergency centers, and even at established and advanced hospitals, she would notice, even as late as 2009 that emergency intake personnel and certain advanced medical practitioners had minimum awareness of Lupus and its effects, and some were not aware that such a disease existed. Greta was then convinced that Lupus was indeed a silent killer in many communities. Those experiences were her motivation for founding Greta Lewis Lupus Foundation. In 2012 the organization was formed and thereafter became a tax exempt entity.

Consistent with her commitment several years ago, Greta is not only actively surviving Lupus, but she is also thriving, and motivating numerous others to do the same. Join us!
